Alexis + DJ | Disney's Boardwalk Engagement Session — Savannah Hoban Photography - Family, Senior and wedding photographer in Central Florida.

This Disney’s Boardwalk Engagement session was everything I've dreamed about and more! When Alexis and DJ decided on this location for their engagement photos I was giddy inside! This session was pretty special to me since Alexis is my besties sister. I knew her when she was little and I’m so incredibly honored to not only take her engagement photos but also capture her gorgeous wedding day…did I mention its a destination wedding? Well get to that part laster.

How it all started….

Alexis and Dj met eachother while actually working at Disney! What a dream right!? Thats why this location was beyond perfect for their engagement photos. They became friends for quite awhile before they decided to go out on a date. They went out to a bar one night and had their first kiss (insert Cinderella's Castle fireworks here). From that day on they were inseparable!

They spent the next week hanging out every chance they got! Alexis said what really made them fall in love was the support they equally get from the relationship. She said that they both always push the other to do things outside of their comfort zones and that they have grown so much together!

How He Proposed….

After three years togther Alexis and DJ went on a gorgeous vacation in Maui, Hawaii! On June 9, 2021 they drove to the top of Mount Haleakala Volcano to watch the sunset from 10,000 feet above sea level. Dj pulled out a ring(its gorgeous, take a look below), popped the question and Alexis said yes!

Fun Fact...

Alexis and DJ share the same birthday! This is so aweosme because now DJ will never get in trouble for forgetting 🎉 What a lucky fella!

The Wedding….

Obviously this wedding is going to be beautiful but y’all….. I get to photograph these gorgeous people on a pink beach in Bermuda! This is seriously what dreams are made of! They will be headed on on an eight day cruise (yay, wedding trip of my dreams) in October! They will be getting married at Cambridge Beaches Resort in Kingspoint, Bermuda with all of their closest family and friends. I’m so incredibly happy for the two of them and cannot wait until they say I Do! Stay tuned for the wedding day blog post! Its going to be a good one!
