Lauren + Shawn | Engagement Session

It was a beautiful glowy sunshiny day when we headed to Burton Smith Park to capture Lauren and Shawn’s engagement session. They brought their fur baby, and I couldn’t be more excited! We had such a great time during their engagement session and I know their wedding day at Rockledge Country Club in October is going to be an amazing day!

How it all started….

Lauren and Shawn met online. Lauren had moved down from North Carolina, and we met soon after she got to town. He took her to the wine bar, Balibar, in Merritt Island - super cute idea! Shawn and Lauren have very similar interests -they both highly value family, and getting out and enjoying life.

How Shawn Proposed….

After three years together Shawn proposed in Asheville, North Carolina. They hiked Moore Cove Falls Trail in Pisgah Forest. They made it to the waterfall at the end of the trail, and Shawn got down on one knee and Lauren said YES!

The engagement session was such a fun and great time and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding day in October!
